Markbass Cab Covering

The Markbass cabs with rat fur seem to have shorter fur than some others I've seen. Very durable stuff actually.

I don't mix cabs either, but some like the 210 + 115 configuration. No guarantee that there isn't some phasing out or boosting of frequencies, though.

It's too bad Markbass does the floor monitor kick-back wedge on their cabs. I just want the basic rectangular cab; front ported at a fair price. Markbass seems to miss the mark for me on a number of issues:

(1) high price
(2) floor wedge shape
(3) lack of 4 ohm offerings
(4) rat hair
(5) rear porting

I really wanted to like Markbass:scowl:

I have a mark bass combo. Some of their stuff is front ported, some is rear ported, and some is sealed. The price is the price but remember you are getting quality parts, workmanship and design for that price. The kick back design I share your frustration on. Wish they had just made it square, taller and thinner so I could use an amp stand. The rat fur is a pain to keep clean but its more durable than tolex and is useful because Velcro sticks to it and stuff you place on top tends to not vibrate slowly off the edge.

I guess my point is all products have their pros and cons, and each of those have their flip side or at least reason why.
