I'm just getting back in the game for upright and I noticed my Markbass CMD121 has a balance input right next to my 1/4" input. It has to be useful for double bass, especially micing. Who's using it and how? I'm in a pinch for amplification at the moment and I'm thinking of going this way:
bass -> SP C3 variable pattern mic set on omni -> Behringer active DI w/ phantom power -> MB balanced in
