Markbass combo power!!!

Hey All,
Just joined this group but have been reading what you all say for some time. I need anybody/somebody's input.

I just bought the Markbass CMD 102P two ten combo amp. Also bought the front ported 4-10 box. Having been an Ampeg user (SVT 4 pro) for years I'm still trying to settle in if you will. I'm am finding that I miss the head room and sheer volume that I had with the Ampeg. I do however love the sound, technology and weight of the Markbass. What I am wondering is the amp that is in the Markbass combo is the Littlemark II. I would like to take the amp out and replace it with the Littlemark III tube 800 watt amp. I checked and the dimensions are exact but just want to make sure this is a good move or not. Or at least get a few posts on my power/volume delima....

Thanks

I'd sell the combo and buy the 800 head then. Besides, pairing a 410 with a 210 combo will put the 210 combo in danger, as the 410 can handle so much more power, and spread that power between 4 spkrs, vs. the 210 taking an equal share with just 2 spkrs. Not a good pairing. Just sell the combo, buy the head you want and use it with the 410. If that's not loud enough, get another identical 410.
