Markbass Compressore noisy on my board.

Hi ppl,

My Markbass Compressore makes this noise:

when it's connected to the rest of my board. When it is alone, I can't hear this noise.
I am referring to the hiss, but also to the pulsing "heartbeat" low-freq noise that bothers me more than the hiss.

Any idea what could solve this?
My chain is:
Boss TU-3 > Fulltone OCD > Boss OC-2 > EBS Unichorus > Yamaha DDS-100 > Markbass Compressore > Sansamp BDDI Programmable

All powered by T-Rex Fueltank Classic, although I had the exact same problem with another power supply.

EDIT:
Just found out that the noise also disappears if I take the Sansamp pre out of the chain.

EDIT 2:
This is weird. I moved the Preamp to the head of the chain (after the tuner) and the noise stopped. I guess the preamp and the comp just don't like eachother.

Normally I'd blame a non-isolated ground, but the Fueltank 12V is isolated from the 9V. Even so, it is still possible for noise to jump from ground into the audio path, when that's the path of least resistance. You can try changing the order of the pedals on the board, as that can change the current flow and resistances. I know you said you had the same problem with "another power supply"; what supply was it exactly? You can try using the factory-stock power supply with either the Sansamp or the MB, to see if there is any change.

The MarkBass webpage for the Compressore ([Invalid or Expired Link Removed]) lists 12VDC / 600mA minimum as power requirement. The Fueltank's 12VDC output is 500mA. I think it's better to use Compressore's own power adapter.

Also, on your photo I see a multi adapter plug is plugged to Compressore. It looks very dangerous. It can move and touch to the jack body right next to it and that short circuit could damage your Fueltank and Compressore.

The compressor should be ahead of your other effects in the chain. Also, tone altering effects (chorus, envelope filters, etc.) generally sound better when routed through the effects loop of the pre-amp. My chain is: tuner, compressor, pre-amp. My octave, chorus and envelope filter (in that order) are routed through the effects loop of my pre-amp (EBS Micro Bass II).
