Markbass head or Euphonic Audio Doubler?

I eventually want to get an aguilar db 2 12. But for now, I have a 1 15 and a 2 10 ampeg classic. I currently have no amp. I am interested in the euphonic audio doubler since I plan to switch an upright gig to an electric gig. Also possibly use both in one gig at some point.
I know the doubler has great features. But concerned about some people saying it doesn't have much color. "like plugging into a direct box". But I like the 2 channels and weight and that it has a notch filter to stop feedback from upright. I do like markbass tone since I have tried them. Light as well. But they dont have a model with a notchfilter and not sure what features could help for upright and electric. Whats your thoughts. In the end I want a light head, with aguilar 2 12. In a dream world I'd have switchable tone from Charlie Hayden on upright and Muse on electric. But since going light would be hard to pull off. but want to come as close as possible. There is a radiall engineering pedal I can get if I got the markbass, which can make me change channels. But not sure if that has eq or notch filter.. thanks for your help:ninja:
