MarkBass - Help!!

Hi,

I live in the U.S. and own a Markbass head (TA501) and cabinet (Standard 104HF). I really want to get one of those covers for the head and the footswitch. However, I can't find anyone in the U.S. that carries these items, nor can I find anyone elsewhere that will ship it to me. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've sent multiple e-mails to Markbass, but I never get a response. Thanks.

On a side note, should I get rid of the Markbass and get something that is more practical for living in the U.S.?

Guitar Center is just starting to carry Mark Bass products. I have had responses from the folks at Mark Bass to some of my questions. Let's chalk up their lack of responsiveness to a language barrier or perhaps being understaffed at the moment which is not good. My emailed responses came from someone in Italy whose english was about as good as my Italian!

I personally love their equipment. I am told they built the Ernie Ball HD-500 Audiophile amps and cabinets which I uses all the time and have never had a problem.

Amps and Cabinets are really a matter of personal choice. The best thing to do is gain some real hands on experience with your rig by playing in different styles to see how the rig reacts.

Hey Clifton,
It's August in Italy, they're all on holiday!
Crazy concept to us over in North America but it's true. They work their asses off all year long and then they all go on holiday at the same time for two weeks.
You can order an amp bag from any Guitar Center. They're stored at the Distribution Center so you will have to order one.
Or you can use the rack ears that are included with the amp, and put it in a rack.
If you need further info, please let me know.
best,
Peter
