You might get another amp. The repairs for these things can be costly. I would contact MB and see if they can help you or look at getting another amp.

Uhhhh,I will try to repair it. But I need schematic for amp... Thank you for answer. Enyone else, please ?

Mark Bass does NOT send out or share schematics. You can only use their service centers, no information can be found outside of Mark Bass. You are out of luck. Get another amp head.

This is the only file I have ever found leaked onto the internet. Freely found on a search, but not the unit you have.

Usually these amps are better repaird replacing a board but they cost almost as much as the amp. Not saying you cannot fix it but you will be hard pressed getting a schematic. MB will not share their schematics

IIRC the tube in these amp is a pentode that is wired in so no plug in base. Typically these tubes were rated at something like 40000 hours so it's unlikely to have failed.

I concur with others who have suggested returning the unit to the manufacturer for repair. You are already in Europe so shipping cost should me minimal.

I hope you get the amp sorted. :)

Just to inform you: I had the same problem and I got it fixed for just over €200. That's a lot less than a new amp. The guy at Westamp in Delft (The Netherlands) told me that those power supplies are a weak spot. But with the repairs done, further problems are unlikely to occur because the replacement has some mods over the original ones. By the way: I bought a LM250 Black Series as a spare and for smaller gigs. Just to avoid problems like the TS had.

I don’t believe I’d buy an amp from a company that wouldn’t share their schematic.

That’s a bit naive Dave. Many, many companies protect their intellectual property zealously. You can’t blame them for that. If you had come up with a great Idea, put it on the market and them found someone had cloned the device and were undercutting your price. I don’t think you would be too happy about it!

I have schematics for my Ampeg, Fender, and my Vox. I can go to the Ampeg website and get the schematic and I believe Fender has the schematic to my Bassman on their website. I don’t think anybody is going to try to duplicate those amps at a competitive price to be honest. In any case I appreciate the fact that I can repair my amps if need be myself.

I get where you're coming from, but there's little point to it these days. These SMPS-type amps, they're built just like a computer. Three boards, one for input, one for the power amp/SMPS, and one for output. All the components are SMT, you're not going to be able to remove them or solder news ones in place. Not even with tweezers and the world's smallest soldering iron.

So these amps have three parts, and none of them can be worked on by humans. They just get removed and replaced. Little good a schematic would do you or I.

I assume you checked the fuse. That is all you can do.

Where did you buy it?
