My Walter Woods Ultra went out the door when I got the F1... it's punchier in the low end, and IMO more even and warm for EB than the Walter (not so much for DB though). The SD800 gives the Glock HR a serious run for its money also. And, in my many A/B's between the LMII and the Eden WT800, many of us were quite surprised:smug:

It takes a bit to get that 'how can this stuff be so good at such a low cost' bias out of the equation (I had a hard time believing it myself, since I like the 'gear bling' myself), but the heads are quite amazing.

I'm not a big fan of most of the cabs, but the heads paired with Epi, Berg, Aguilar, whatever, and run at 4ohms are really nice!

The Carbine is massively louder, much deeper down low, and more aggressive up top. While the LMII is very transparent and even down to a reasonable/useful low bass roll-off level, the Carbine is voiced for a BIG low end, and an aggressive profile in the upper mids.

The TecAmp Puma500 is closer to the Epi/Glock tone. While the LMII is very 'quick' sounding, and relatively tight in the low end, the Puma500 has that very warm, fat, big low end like the Epi502 or Glock Heart/Rock Soul, and a VERY clean, crystal clear hi fi top end.

So,

M6.. massively loud, aggressive, huge sounding, with just a hint of tube

LMII.... honestly rated wattage, very even and quick, nice sizzle up top if you want it.

Puma500.... creamy, smooth, articulate but more 'fat and warm' down low and VERY crystal clear up top. It's the 'Glock killer' in an under 6 pound package to my ear.

All WONDERFUL pieces of gear, and all quite different sounding. IMO!

Very true. But imagine what my wife will say if I actually return a piece of gear! I bet she even cooks me some waffles!

I was really impressed with the engineering, the solidity of the unit overall. Sometime down the road I'll look seriously at one of the semi-para eq MB's.

# 3 arrived first, so I have been playing that one................# 16 arrived the other day, still in the box, waiting for the new cabinets to arrive! :D

I did not know they were numbered, but now that I look at the serial numbers on the box, it makes sense....................Don't know how I missed it! :rollno:

got mine today!

um, so i already knew it sounded great through rigorous testing at GC, but i failed to realize on thing: It only has one speakon output! oops....i guess ill have to call and change my order with bayou....i thought 1/4" worked with speakon, why would they have one of each? why not just 2 speakon?

i know i know...minor...i am super excited about this amp though, ive been playing through an Ampeg b2 and am finally stepping into a real rig...

Just daisey-chain your cabinets. Problem solved. My Ampeg SVT-CL only has one Speakon too and that's what I've always done.
