Markbass Micromark 801 power cord question

I recently bought a Markbass Micromark 801 and love it, but have 1 issue; the power cable is too short to reach from the nearest outlet/power strip to the amp's ideal location in my living room.

Does anyone know how to evaluate if a potential longer power cord would be safe? Ideally, i am looing for 10 feet/9 meter power cord length. I'm guessing from the amp's 60W output that i don't need anything especially beefy, but don't want to fry the amp or have a fire. I live in the US, so I'm assuming anything rated for 120 volts is OK.

Are my assumptions correct, that i mainly need to focus on the voltage rating because the power draw from a 60W amp is fairly low? there are a ton of options on amazon that fit this criteria with strong aggregate customer reviews

I think as long as the end of the cord has a C13 connector you should be OK. Others will correct me if I am wrong.

Use whatever cord you want. I regularly use a 30' cord on my Little Mark III. The cords are rated to carry A/C power and that's about all you need to know. They won't get hot at the current draw you're asking from them... they might if you were using it for A/C or a big compressor at 3500+ watts & 30 amps, but you're talking about something less than 100 watts here.

The manual says it has a 2A fuse. That isn't going to stress any reasonable AC power lead.

For that amp, 10 feet is going to be fine. The minimum gauge for an IEC C13 cable is 18 AWG.

Note that 10 feet is not the same as 9 meters (which is about 29 feet)

I use 15-25 ft IEC cords all the time.

Thanks for the advice everyone, i got a fancy right-angle plug that will let me put the amp all the way against the wall and be even more space efficient & out of my wife's view

Not with the OP's amp, 18 gauge is plenty heavy for it.

With a longer right-angle cable, the amp fits nicely under a cat tree. Thank you for your help!
