Double Bass Markbass Mini CMD121P?

Has anyone else tried this little amp? I enjoyed Paul's recent "Markbass vs GK combo" posting, but would like to compare a few more notes.

I'm totally blown away by the way the Markbass Mini 12-combo sounds and performs with electric and URB. I think that it's going to work well for most of my gigs - URB or slab.

For the occasional loud gig, I've found that the combo's head pushes my 410 cabinet much more sweetly than did my old GK 700 RB II. For 90% of my work - I think this little 32 pound combo will suffice.

Any other comments?

Sounds like you have a nice little Rig that gets the Job Done.

I did a gig last night without a preamp, using the amp's direct out into the house. Sound man was impressed with the tone.

Arco is particularly full sounding.

I've had good success using my 121P for upright gigs. When
things got louder, I switched to electric and put the combo
on top of my Epifani UL112. It just sounded great. Fat, clear,
and punchy.
