markbass with a twist

used a hartke lh1000 with my markbass 104 hf 4ohm last night & was pleasantly surprised, big/fat/throaty sound with my usa p-bass. so what else sounds good through this cab other than mb-heads? anyone tried gk/nemesis/warwick heads anything. just putting it out there.

I tried a SVTCL+MB104HF at a store. it was better than the SVTCL+810, AND better than the MBSA450+MB104HF.

Best of both worlds IMHO

I tried my old Mini 112 combo with a B-15 head. Sounded really good to me.

i guess these cabs maybe like markbass heads they work really well with just about anything! their has been so much said about the match up of mb-heads to other brand cabs it's good to hear the reverse.

Well the Markbass cabs are definitely an acquired taste, and it usually takes playing them with a band to appreciate them. I'm not using them currently but I do appreciate how well they work with a band.
