People got tired of the show, there's only so much 4 people on a dusty planet can offer. Ratings drop, show gets cancelled. They are left for death, on Mars.

But they secretly film all that too. And make a film.

"Left for dead.. ON MARS!!"

Its a vicious cycle.

You know, that's the thing that I think will cause this to fail. Who's to say their plan of a reality tv show won't bust and have the whole project scrapped?

From curiosity's standpoint, this is awesome, but I don't know how practical it will be.
