Bassculture, Hipshot, John East; I don't think one can get better than that( whilst tastes may and do obviously vary).
I am just wondering in terms of built - quality and attention to detail.
Adrian is a super nice guy and one I'd support, but with his basses I usually have the very distinct impression that they are not quite finished when looking at the( not so) finer detail.

You should also check out ACG. Alan isn't building Wal copies, but he is the creating some amazing basses that can be configured to use his newest filtered DFM preamp and proprietary multi-coil humbuckers.

Lol. I hear you. I want a Wal too, though I'll take what I can get.

Right now I can't get this thing either though. If the day comes that I can spend 3K on a bass guitar this'll be high on my list.
