Recently picked up a new MAS 28. Super nice cabinet. I went ahead and did a short comparison to my existing cabinet. Signal chain: Bass - Schoeps MK4 - AI Clarus 4 all set neutral. 3 recordings, albeit a little sloppy, 1st is bass with no amp then 1 through MAS 28 and finally 1 through Genzler BA123SLT. I recorded with my Zoom H4n Pro about 2 feet away from the source set for stereo record. I did cut the volume on the amplified recordings otherwise everything was kept flat.
Its sort of a quick comparison and shows, in my opinion, two very natural sounding cabinets. Check it out and let me know if you have any preferences.
