Master built Fender jazz bass medium scale

I would really like to get a master built Fender jazz bass 32" medium scale. Either buy one used, if there are any on the market or get one built. How would one go about a master built? How do I get in contact with the builder, and who would you recommend? How much does it cost?

I suppose I'd be interested in hearing about regular custom built also, but as mentioned 32" scale.

I'd be absolutely shocked if it ended up being less than $5,000.

Contact a Fender Custom Shop dealer that does a lot of custom orders. Chicago Music Exchange and Bizarre Guitar come to mind. Tell them what you are interested in and see if they will ask Fender if it is something they would be willing to build and a rough idea on pricing. I would think something like this is doable and would expect it to run over $7,000.
