I'm thinking about purchasing a hybrid bass as a backup and for those gigs where bringing my beloved old carved one isn't a good idea. Looking for something loud with a nice pizz attack, decent response for bow practicing and most important reliable and solid. I saw that Bassico in Munich sells some Mastri 7/8 Hybrid Basses for an interesting price, but I can't find any opinion about it on the web, anyone tried it? I've been also looking for a used hybrid Shen Gemunder 7/8, but unfortunately they seem to be hard to find in Europe. I also have my eyes on a 1991 strunal hybrid bass.
