I am saddened to report my great friend and incredible bass player and producer Matthew Seligman has lost his battle with COVID-19, and has been taken off life support. Matthew's list of credits is pretty incredible.

Oh, how sad. He was a fantastic contributor to those early Thomas Dolby albums.

I am very sad to hear this. Matthew’s wonderful playing on Thomas Dolby’s albums, particularly The Flat Earth, was one of the reasons I first picked up a bass. RIP Matthew.

If you guys don't mind, I'd like to share some stories of his. He played with the Thompson Twins, and before they recorded Lies, at a band meeting they decide the bass should sound similar to the bass on Low Rider. I think he nailed it.

Seems it's already raised the requested amount but is being left open to contributions and retained till Estate has gone through Probate. The live Vigil had some very touching honest and funny input from such a wide variety of his friends and colleagues. RIP
