Maximum power

I'm not reading this entire thread after skimming.

Nobody needs insane loudness without handing out earplugs at the door.

Until you're willing to spend $50 on earplugs for your patrons at every show, then stick to less than an 810.

'loud' does not need to push air. Low end pushes air. If you play crazy sub-bass then you need power. If you play in a 'rock and roll' band then chances are you're pushing mids and only mids.

a 100W Ampeg V4b (or the like) with a 215 should be more than enough.

2x210 in a vertical array should be great for stage.
Save money and buy yourself some THD hotplates that you lend your guitarists, or ensure they use if they're playing huge rigs.

Two for ohm cabs is 2 ohms so dont run a 4 ohm head with that unless it has a selector switch that allows it to run in4 or 2 ohms like a svt... For wattage i use a 810E and a SVT-CL and it is freaking amazing, it moves so much air and is so loud it still amazes me and iv had it a while, you dont nedd 1000 watts unless your runnen solid state and thats just to give the tube sound not for loudness, a ampeg 8x10 will allow you to get loud but still have good tone where as many cabs just sound like ass try on out at a guitar center near you and youl see a 810 with a 300 watt cl is plenty loud
