Glad to be here, stumbled across through google in search for an old bass. I'm looking for an old "Maya" natural precision copy, brown turtle scratchplate. I sold one in about 1984 and have regretted it since. Also traded my Ibanez studio bass a few years later which was my second biggest mistake. Left with a Peavey T40 and Yamaha 5 string. So if anyone has an old Maya or even pictures I would appreciate it. I'm around the Glasgow area in Scotland.
Even better, if you bought an old Maya from a second hand store at the barras or an Ibanez Studio from General Dealer around 1984 and 1992 respectively now that would be interesting
