Maybe an upgrade from Fender 250 2x10

I've got a Fender Bassman 250 watt combo, that has two ten inch Eminence drivers in it. I love this amp, at least as far as practicing goes, but I have never played out with it. Does anyone have any experience playing out with this? Does it have enough power to use live?

I play on a Fender Std Jazz bass with a Badass II, and a Squier Classic Vibe Jazz bass also with a Badass II. I play alot of indie/punk rock, some experimental/psychadelic rock, and a little jazz.

I've been thinking about an Ampeg SVT 450, and the 410HLF cab, since I love the tone on these, and the head room is nice to have. Just looking for some advice. (BTW, I wanted to stick with solid state, because I don't want to worry about all the work a tube amp needs, plus replacing tubes.) I'm new here so excuse my ignorance.
