Mayones Comodous Basses

Hi everyone! I'm just about to pick my two Mayones basses that are being build for me at their factory in Gdansk/Poland. Mayones makes superb instruments. Their craftsmanship is absurd. The woods and eletronics are a perfect match with their basses. I'm going with two Comodous models. One is the Comodous Classic 5 Fretless the other being the Custom Comodous 5 Buckeye Burl. Can't wait to put my hands on theses basses. Best regards to everybody here in talkbass.

In my case, I'm becoming endorser of Mayones basses. So is a different kind of deal with the company. But I'm pretty sure discounts are given to musicians that buy two or more instruments. Best!
What is your price to become an endorsee?
Is there a discount if you endorse more than one company?
What does an endorsee do for a Company except try to get a free instrument?
How does he promote the instrument?

Hey Rene!

1 - Conditions and prices for endorsees it's private deal with the company. And every case is different depending on how many instruments you want to use and etc...
2 - i don't really know if there are discounts for musicians who have more than one endorsement contract.
3 - In my case, I didn't want to become a endorsee to get a free instrument from them. I first made contact with the company because we don't have a Mayones dealer where I live(Brazil) and I wanted to buy these two basses. The endorsement deal came along the way.
4 - The endorsee promote the instruments in any way he can (social nets such as Facebook, Myspace, Talkbass, Bassfrontiers and etc... Playing live, putting the company's logo in Cd's he recorded, doing clinics and etc... Nowadays with internet, the world became very small, and different from decades ago you can make a lot of promotional stuff and send them away for thousands of people in minutes.
Best regards!!!
