Medium Scale neck source?

Anyone have a source for 4 string, medium scale bass necks other than Warmoth?

You can contact some of the luthiers here if you have a specific neck you want. They can't contact you due to TB policy. Also, there is Chandler, Musikraft, USACG, that may have available necks for you. Good Luck

what's "wrong" with the Warmoth offerings? Just genuinely curious.

Nothing
and they are close.
Just hoping to find something with a head that is a little different than what they offer, which is the Fenderish look. Probably have to go with that. Not having much luck

Ah. I hear you. I just naturally assumed they offered a paddle headstock, but that must not be the case. Bummer. And odd. Not like they invented med and short scale....

I just picked up an Epiphone EB-0 and plan to make a Franken-EB or EB-X.

It has a couple small fixable bangs, but is all there and it was really really cheap.

It would have been pretty slick to have had a Gibsonish looking neck.

I agree with you on Warmoth not offering a medium scale neck with a paddle headstock. I just sucked it up and bought a Warhead, it's a little bit of a bummer but oh well, at least its the right scale...

I'm sure that they'd do it for an upcharge. I understand production lines and all that, but it's funny to pay more for less work!
