I'm looking for a 32 inch bass that can handle low string height without frett buzz. I've got a stingray and a bongo and as soon as i reach what could be called low string height the strings just slams onto the frets. I would like the bass to have jazz pick-ups.
It doesnt have to be able to handle metal.
Any suggestions? it doesnt necessarily need jazz pick-ups just something thats good for slapping, funk, jazz etc...
Price: 2000$ or something.
Do i have to go to like high end luthiers to get a bass like this or are there some factory mades that fits my description?
Main requirments: Shorter scale, low string height without fret buzz.
