I had to have another one. They were never easy to come by, and now, with the demise of G&L, it seems much tougher to find a USA model. The Kiloton 4 just does it for me. It's ugly where it needs to be. I introduce to you 'The Poleaxe'.

Looks are a matter of taste, but I don't see the "ugly" on your new bass.
Congratulations on it. How's it sound?
The 'ugly' is in the sound, but that's more of a feature than a bug. I've commented on this before: it's an instrument that doesn't sound particularly great or classic by itself. In a live mix, however, it just won't be ignored. As far its looks, I love the utilitarian flair. It's a real sleeper all the way around. I gig tested it last night. It stomped through the joint.
