Merry Christmas - Pedals!

My best Christmas present this year is a new Dark Glass Microtubes B3K! Oh man does this ever produce a great set of tones and grit! I really like it!

I pick up some old toys and rock the wall with them.
My plate is full.

My secret Santa got me a Bitquest!!!!!! Love it. Love it!!!

My Christmas present/year end bonus to myself was the new Verellen Meatsmoke Hybrid and my GF sprung for a Barefaced Big Twin II for me!!!!!

It has been a great Christmas. Wishing everyone a safe, healthy and happy 2017!!!

Oh my god marry that woman right frickin' now, she's a keeper!!!

I got a Barefaced BB2 this year and it's the best purchase I've made all year. It's loud, convenient to put in the trunk, light to carry, fast to set up, and replicates all the tones of my M9 Carbine flawlessly. What a great gift!

I got an IE Xerograph Deluxe v2 from my loving wife! Very cool pedal and the 4 pole filter is so squelchy and wet, and controlling the start freq w/ an expression pedal is a new world of EF control for me. I have not yet even tried the downsweep filter motion I have been having so much fun getting to know upsweep and simple LPF operation.

I just checked out that pedal online and... wow! What a gift. That looks super fun.

I've been really hammering on this pedal, then I started to mess around with the Mesa Boogie Carbine M9 EQ and compressor in combination, then added in my Eden Glowplug for some extra throbbing lows. It's crazy how much control you have from each device (not to mention the ton of knobs on the Fender Jazz Elite right), so you can either end up with an awesome tone (and forget to write everything down), mud, too much depth, not enough punch, and sometimes the effects just cancel each other. I figured it comes down to options on the board. Probably wouldn't run too many effects together, but MAN out of all my pedals the B3K is my favorite for rock and cutting through. The Eden on the other hand is great for blues and jazz and warmth and mellow. Loving how this is coming together.

Too bad my Red Witch Factotem is so screwed up! Working that issue :(
