Mesa 2X15 Cabs

I see Mesa Boogie has finally come out with a new 2 x 15 cab for the Subway line.
I had mentioned it on a forum a year or two ago and a guy from Mesa actually responded and said he too would love too see them come out with a new 2x15 cab.
So now even the guys who want smaller portable bass cabinets can have a compact 2 x 15 to really push some bottom end in their rig.
My ideal set up would be a 2x15 on the bottom and a 2 x 10 on the top. Seems like a better combination than a 1 x 15 and 4 x 10 to me. 4 X 10 cabinets are not light so I'm not sure where that idea ever came from.

Both have about the same effeciency
Both sound like lightweight monsters

If you were running both full range, an 8 ohm 2x10 would pair ok with a 4 ohm 2x15 and a capable amp. But an 8 ohm 15 and 8 ohm 2x10 would be matched much better. Then you double that with appropriate power if you need more volume.

For biamping, I'd rather have a really serious 15 or 18" sub that was crossed over to something between a 2x10 to a 4x10. With a 2x15 sub, I'd be looking at insane volumes and definitely matching it at least with a 4x10, crossed over fairly low (120 or less).
