Hello,

So I bout a mesa boogie 2x15 EV to match with my prodigy head. I just got back from vacation so I have fresh ears and noticed a buzz at certain spots/frequencies on my neck when played. I used different amps and hear the same thing.

I think it is just the top speaker.

What are your recommendations? To fixing? Getting a new one? What is the best match? Etc..

Thank you,

Speaker cabinets can be very sensitive to just one loose piece of hardware. Tighten everything on your cab down. Speakers, handles. Input jack plate. Anything screwed to the cab that could be ever so slightly loose and produce sympathetic vibrations at certain frequencies. I had a problem like this with my Ampeg 810 (though it needed some loose wood to be reglued too) and a Marshall 4x12. I tightened everything down and had no noises afterwards.
