Hi there! Does anybody know if the new Mesa Prodigy bass head can be run with one single 4 Ohm cabinet? I'm wondering if the Prodigy and my Scout cab would be a nive combination? Thanks for any information on that...
Yes, it will work fine. Pics show two 4 Ohm jacks and one 8 Ohm.
This bit of Mesa Prodigy copy cracks me up--"And don't forget that we're talking tube watts here, they're much, much louder than wimpy solid-state watts!"
Lol. You mean like your "wimpy" solid-state M3/M6/M9/M-Pulse/Big Block750/Titan offerings, Mesa?
Those guys are definitely smoking something. Something great. They throw their own great amps under the bus. Hilarious.
I had an M6 for awhile. I can assure anyone that's reading that there was nothing "wimpy" about it. If anything, it was too much. Serious power.
thanks for your quick response. I can't wait the prodigy is available in europe... by the way: I hope the fan is regulated or at least not as noisy as the walkabout's fan. that's really not necessary in this class...
