Mesa Boogie M3

It looks good to me. 300 watts @ 4 ohms matches my 4 ohm Avatar. It has a tuner out and appears to have a footswitch jack that could mute the amp while tuning. I hate tuning out loud in public. Just annoys me and annoys anyone watching you. Two rack spaces which isn't bad at all ( my old Carvin was 2 spaces).
I'm a proud owner of a larger mesa rig (m pulse 600, 2x10, 1x15), and when I saw this come out, my jaw dropped. Just what I want, the walkabout is just too popular here for me to buy one like everyone else 
It's pretty, but if it's based on the PH 12 cab, I suspect it weighs about 65 lbs......15 more than a Walkabout.......which is already not small for a single 12. Mesa trumpets weights when they're low (like the WA series), and doesn't list them when they're high (like virtually all their other bass gear).Same power with the addition of tuner out. Probably superbly overbuilt like much Mesa gear, but not a niche I'm looking to fill. I'm still waiting for a 500W or better Walkabout without too much weight gain, that has speakons, tuner out/mute and aux in......well, if I'm gonna dream......

No worries... Mesa QC and amps are extremely high quality. Web content is agreeably lousy!

Two different beasts.
The M3 is standard rack size, FWIW. Another big difference.
I've heard they will retail for $799. Mesa does not discount, so if that number is accurate, then $799 it is. IMO I'd rather just save another $200 and get an M6 with double the power output.

Probably, but it's still slightly annoying that I can't find it on the site... And presumably neither could the chick.
If that's the actual price, I'm out. I could get one of the new Carvins and have gobs more power, or pick up a pair of used LM2's for about that. Yikes Mesa, yikes...
