I have a GK MB200 as a backup amp. Sometimes I just use it into my cab for practice or jams. Always surprises me with how much sound comes out of that little amp.

Mesa Boogie vs Ampeg vs Markbass vs Others

I have a GK MB200 as a backup amp. Sometimes I just use it into my cab for practice or jams. Always surprises me with how much sound comes out of that little amp.
I think you’d be very happy with the Mesa they’re great amps. Another option you might want to look into is the Genzler Magellan it does clean very well, along with a lot of other things. Super solid pieces of gear. Great customer service too.
Thanks for all the great advice guys and gals! Yep, I’m a clean, in the pocket bassist of modern county as I’m also the lead singer! So I tend to pick music that is danceable, catchy and fairly easy on bass to play. Grew up on classic country and rock. Definitely interested in the Mesa’s!
I’m loving my TT-800. I probably could have gone for one of the models lower on the ladder and really enjoyed it, but having the ability to do everything well ranked high on the list.

As a well known Ampeg snob, 
The Mesa D800+ is the amp you want.
The built in HPF is the big win amongst all the other class D heads. If didn't already have a ton of Ampeg gear... That head has me looking.

I have the TT-800 going into a Barefaced Two 10S myself. Enjoying it a lot!
Decided to pay the small up charge for “British Raging Green” for my tolex, since it wasn’t as much as paying for the custom options.
Man... it's threads like these that are gonna push me into eventually buying a WD-800.
Couple months ago I purchased a Mesa TT800 because I wanted the 400+ circuit and HPF. I use the 400+ for old school jazz bass and the 800 circuit for pedals. With the foot switch can go between the 2 pre's on the fly. Very handy. As for cabs I have used with GK Neo 4x10, Fearless 15/6/1, and a Bergie CN212. Bergie does not seem to be the one, but the other two are great with Mesa on either Pre. Did not twiddle knobs with Bergie so that might be better than I think.
I'll second the WD-800 (which I own), but I also have an Aguilar AG700-either would more than deliver for you (IMHO).
I'm biased, but this rig totally rocks. Most of the gigs I've played I only take the 2x10 and it's been plenty.
Thinking your setup is EXACTLY what I’ll be aiming for!!! Jealous....
Gonna toss the Genzler MG800 out there. Clean but not sterile with a switchable OD if you need it.

The BA210 is nice, often not powerful enough if we don’t use PA support and I’m not looking to stack cabs just to get 500 watts. Looking for any advice from anyone with knowledge of the above stated amps, music genres etc. I live in the sticks and don’t get the chance to try these amps out. Dude... it's a revelation. Dial in all the booty you want with the bass knob and the put it in a tight pair of jeans with the HPF.
