Hey guys,
I have a Mesa PowerHouse 4x10. One of the speakers was replaced with an ome Mesa speaker about a year ago. Since then everything has been cool. Now I have realized that the cab sounds "weak" and I have now noticed that one of the speakers is out of phase. It is moving in while the others move out. The speaker doesn't sound blown, but it definitely isn't right. Any thoughts?

Ok, best you can do is swap terminals over so it's moving in the same direction from now on.

Ideally, replace it with a matching one, but since you didn't notice it was too off with the wrong one miswired there probably won't be a lot of milage in that for you.

That's weird then. Really hinky weird. I think you probably only just noticed, but by all means check out inside.

Afaik the wire starts at one terminal, goes to the coil, comes off the coil, and back to the other terminal. No way for it to switch polarity.
