Mesa Cab recommendations....

I currently play on a SVT Classic 4X10 and SVT Classic 1X15, I was reccommended to get a 4X10 for the highs and 1X15 for lows....but since I'm getting a either a Mesa Big Block 750 or Mesa M-2000.....I've been thinking on switching over to the mesa cabs as well.....I've been looking at the various cabs and have had a difficult time determining which ones would be best for a tight, punchy, grindy bass tone....similar to Fieldy's tone of Korn....I hate Korn but like his tone.....if you have any other recommendations on other cabs that might work better for what I want tha'd be cool as well....

Good choice! I'd go with 10's. The 4x10 is a pretty heavy cabinet (about 100+ lbs) and can handle any lows. If you need more volume, just get another.

The Powerhouse 2x12 isnt the greatest. It is consistent tonewise with my other Powerhouse, but isnt as loud as the 4x10 (at least as far as I can tell in the rooms I've tested it in). It's a good 20-25 lbs lighter though. That's basically the tradeoff.
