Mesa m6 Carbine + Ampeg 8x10e ??

thanks man. it is very loud. from what i have experienced so far. great combo. the m6 gives a boooomy wide bottom end with a lot of volume. this ampeg tightens up the bottom end but not creating too much compression. im in love.

also using a gL L 2000 tribute

I was using this combo for a few months and I loved it. My usual set up is M-6 thru 2 EA NL210's which sounds incredible. My EA cabs need servicing and I borrowed my friends Ampeg 810. This sounds incredible in a different way. Because it moves lots of air, I feel like I have a lot more range of volume for dynamics. It's just a big warm tone that I love. (I play a passive jazz bass).

When I slap, I disappear though. No prob in my house or in a rehersal room, but live it's a deal breaker for me. If I didn't need to slap I would seriously consider selling the EA cabs and using the 810!
