Mesa Subway 115 with Ampeg PF-50T?

I live in a part of the U.S. with not many music stores within a 3 hour drive but I'm looking for good but flexible tone for classic rock, country, alt-rock, maybe some 70's prog. I've settled on the pf-50t as I do like the tubey richness, but also abhor flabby bass and don't want to be married to "the ampeg sound".

Any opinions on how a Mesa 115 or maybe a 112 would pair with the pf-50t? This is just for home use and jamming with other older guys for the occasional party. If I ever need more power than the 50t I have no problem buying another amp and/or another cab down the road but my bar band days are behind me. I got me a j-bass and a p-bass and nothing but a GK 110 practice amp at the moment and visiting GC is depressing.

There was a member here who paired a Subway 115 or two with the PF-50T. I don’t remember who, but they provided some good insight on the pairing.
