Mesa Subway D-350!

This is as small as it gets for me.
This corporate band I play in is most always ampless/in-ears. But for this gig, the leader said it will be a weird outdoor event, so I brought a little security blanket for my tone.

Into my side quest to expand the voicing of my D-350 has walked the Two Notes ReVolt Bass pedal.

Allow me to recommend it as an excellent fit for adding compression, warmth, grit, and distortion to the 350. It also adds an effects loop and cab sim to the 350, fitting neatly on top.

Understanding the cautions about running preamps with EQ in series - I am struck by how simply great these sound and feel together.

If you have access to a D-350 and a ReVolt and want to experience a w-i-d-e range of core tones - try it.

I'm letting my Emperor go if this feeling holds.

Two notes are top notch I love my Torpedo M (with the Subway cab sims)

Amazing news! So happy to hear these are working out for you both

An M+ may be headed for its fx loop.

Any other fun single box suggestions for the loop? H90? Mood II? OC-2? Cloud Burst? What character pedal can add some pizzaz to a micro Subway rig?

I've had a few grins with the Tech21 YYZ pedal added. The D-350 has a very full and well rounded tone, and to my ears, adding that sharp, aggressive, Geddy Lee vibe to it complements it well.

Played our 3rd gig Friday. I'd been running with the 115 on top of the 112 (due to so many suggestions on the 'other' thread...), and I like the sound of the 115 closer to my ears during practice but decided to switch them this time. The 115 is so HI-Fi sounding, where as the single 12 is very mid forward to my ears. They sound great together for the music we play (90's grunge & hard rock). I didn't expect it to make much difference out front, but the results surprised me, as it seemed to increase my volume output somehow. It definitely rumbled the stage more and I got handfuls of compliment on my sound! I ran the D350 at noon/noon the prior gig, but settled at about 11'oclock on both gain & master this time... the only thing that changed was the speaker arrangement. Interesting... Again, the D350 is just amazing!!

Anyone have any recommendations on which usb to 9v cable to buy? I'd like to power my compressor and tube boost pedals. I don't want to buy a piece of garbage cable.
The USB output won’t be able to power a tube based pedal.

Here and fantastic! Using as headphone amp now since I'm still waiting for my cab. Voicing control is so great. Getting "my tone" using the EQ was very fast too. Might be different playing out loud of course.

Also, need to order a TS to TRS cable so I can bypass the Mesa preamp with preamp(s) from my pedalboard using the AUX IN. Nothing else needed to do that I assume, @agedhorse ? (Or TRS to TRS?)

For connecting a preamp, use a TS cable. This is especially true if the preamp has a balanced TRS output, the cable must be TS.

Got it, thank you. Is that true for preamps that don't have a TRS outs? I'm using standalone pedal preamps that emulate other pres, like Sushi Box, Broughton, Barber Linden, and others.

Would using these types of pedals also need a TS to TS into the AUX IN?

It depends on what's done with the ring terminal, nut unless it's a stereo signal I would recommend using a TS cable. The summing that's essential with stereo sources is not necessary and becomes an issue with balanced sources.
