Mesa Walkabout + TL806 special Retro look ...

Meanwhile I loaded one of them with Eminence basslite and the other one with the original EVM 12L. And that's really great! That's my sound! The portability and the possibility to stack them are wonderful. My Walkabout on top of it is perfect to reach and the sound is not at your knee. The basslite stands at the bottom and the 12L on top of it. Also it fits in every car. I also don't need those sub basses on stage, but I want to hear me clear in the mix.

I have been wanting to build a TL806, I LOVE it for guitar, and recently switched back to bass. I play through a Mesa Bass 400+ and want to build a pair and load them with Eminence Delta Pro 12a so that even if I can only lug one it will be enough to handle my beast of an amp. Obviously this is no substitute for an Ampeg 810, but does it sound good?

Build one...I had my carpenter brother do two of them..exactly like the plans..I use an MB200....Seems weird but it's GREAT...clear, punch....and volume.
