Meshuggah Bleed

Just like anything else, get the hours in under your fingers. Get familiar with the herta pattern by playing along with a 4/4 click/drum beat at a speed where you can cleanly execute it. The herta needs to be squeaky clean above all else.

In addition to what @ineedaclutch said, once you familiarize yourself with the herta rudiment, try multiple right hand techniques to see if one matches better than another with your style. By that I mean two vs three fingers, or even a pick. It’s a challenging rhythm to begin with, and even more so at the songs tempo.
