RKL is more of a punk band with a thrash and melodic metal influence but I thought it might be relevant. Largely influenced by Iron Maiden as well. The bass lines stand out on a large percentage of their songs. Here's an example.

Cannibal Corpse is famous for the bassist. Also, you can try Krisiun, or anything with Steve DiGiorgio (Que Vadis's "Defiant Imagination") comes to mind

Death-The Philosopher, Quo Vadis-Break the Cycle, Obscura-Incarnated, Archspire-Lucid Collective Somnambulation, Augury-Simian Cattle, or anything by any of those bands really. If you like slapping, Spawn of Possession is good as well. In case you are unfamiliar with these bands, they are all death metal similar to Beyond Creation, not like all this random stuff other people are suggesting.
