Method book for Six String Bass?

Can anyone recommend a book oriented towards six string bass?

Something with chord shapes and scale extensions and some practice pieces would be nice.

I dunno that you are going to find such a thing. You don't look like a newbie based on your profile, what is the real difference, it's still tuned the same...Sure there are a lot of new chord forming options and such but that should be simple enough to figure out.

The "Fishin' for Grips" one is chordally-oriented, so that should help. And keep in mind that, while fingerboard knowledge on a 6-string is its own thing, learning chordal and scalar shapes on 4- and 5-string basses does transfer to 6. As long as you are using BEADGC, of course. The fourths tuning makes all scale and chord shapes transferable to other strings, of course.
