my usa jazz starts with Z6....

does this indicate it was produced in 2006?

...that's what i have come to understand.

any help would be appreciated.

Z indicates 2000 era.

the 6 indicates 2006. You are correct.

N6 would be 1996. Same rules apply.

so, i bought this jazz bass marked as an '07 and am thinking of going back if that's the cass.

should i ask for money off or something?

i do love the bass though... so i wouldn't want a full refund type thing.

what should i do?
