After reading the "what are you cramming for the afterlength" thread, I began pecking around for a mic to try this with. The guy selling this Joe Meek stuff lives in my town, so I hooked up with him and checked these mics out. VERY nice for the afterlength application as they are sturdy and skinny. I'm blending it with my Underwood via the Focus 2 II. I haven't checked out the more expensive mics, but if you just want to get into using a mic this seems like an easy, cost-effective way to do it.
