Having met Mike about a month ago for drinks and dinner I can say Mike is a very sincere nice decent guy who has great taste in Harp Ale and the ladies .It is people like Mike who make Talk Bass a pleasent interesting place to visit. I am looking foward to our next get together at the wake Mike.

MJ rules, the king of puns (both excellent and excrement), all around uber-nice-guy.

A few years back, the band I was playing in went up to NYC for a few gigs, MJ came out to catch us at one of the clubs (Le Bar Bat, cool place!), and hung with me for several hours afterward. Dude wouldn't let me buy a beer, and refused to let me have an empty hand. He also was far too kind in his opinion of my playing.
