Hey guys-
Thanks a lot for the help on the envelope follower stuff. From what I've heard I can get a lot out of the Electro-harmonix q-tron stuff. Ideally I want a nice, funky, "underwater" wah sound. Anything beyond that is a plus. Since I am a little short on money right now, I can't really afford the "real deal", but I've heard a lot of good things about the mini q-tron. Is this the preferred envelope follower over the Micro? I have heard some things about the micro that suggest that it is a little lackluster compared to its counterparts.
And also, I happen to be quite the newbie with effects. What exactly is a volume spike? Would it be that big of a deal? I'm planning on using this pedal a lot (gigging, recording, jamming), and I want to know how practical it is.
Thanks again....
