Micro vr into ampeg 810e svt, ever been done/seen?

This right here sounds amazing. This is what I recorded recently with it,

In the glorious time around 15 years ago that I had a Blueline 6146 head and matching flatback cab, I did check out my two Gk heads with it too.

The first gig, the fast blow fuse in the head popped immediately - so the GK MB Fusion 500w backup head jumped in and was unreasonably good.

I never got to run the MB200 with a band, rehearsal or show, but did plug it in for the pure curiousabsurdity of it. I don't remember any nuance or details about it other than it worked laughingly well and was a lot of fun when I tried it.

I would do so many things that go against my values to get that exact amp and cab back like they were when I had them. It's been well over a decade and I still don't tell people who I sold the rig to in case I have a chance of getting it back. And to come back around to the original question, I wouldn't say that if it wasn't the SVT with it. But that cab would be killer with anything I would want to put through it.

Yes. Do it.

How'd you like it?
It sounded pretty good, the micro vr thru the 810 is pretty big sounding. I think I had the gain and master at either 1 or 2 o’clock for both and it carried my bass with no PA support! I wasn’t playing with guitarist that had a half stack but the drummer had an acoustic kit and guitarist had a 112 tube amp thru the PA and it was more than enough.

These Micro VRs are like secret weapons… super lightweight, sound really good and look cool (most important part). If Ampeg would create a Venture head in a normal svt head box with silver face plate and cloth I’d pick one up on the spot!! Only Ampeg I touch have to sport the vintage AV aesthetics.
