I recently bought an EBS microbass ii from the classifieds and it has developed a nasty crackly static kind of noise in the drive channel. It was somewhat intermittent and seemed to wear off sometimes. I had concluded that it was due to being next to an electric baseboard heater so I moved my practice rig and it seemed fine. Today the noise is back with a vengeance. Its only in the drive channel, the other is pristine. I’ve tried another power supply, different cables, basses, etc. Has anyone had a similar experience? Is it a bad ground on that circuit?
