I'm considering buying this bass (in very good shape) so I have two questions. What is a fair/good price to pay? Are there any mods I'd need to do to make it a good slapper? Thanks.

Mid-nineties MIJ Jazz

I just picked up a 94 Fender P bass mij for 370. I figure anywhere from 340 - 450 is probably about right depending of course if it is a reissue model or not. Awesome basses for the bucks and pretty well respected (and sought after) this side of the pond. Excellent bang for your buck. I wouldn't worry about mods until you try it.
