Mid-priced Acoustic/AEB suggestion.

Looking for opinions on a mid-priced ($400-$600) AEB.

I'm mainly looking at the Dean Exotica...

OR the Ibanez EWB20SMFE Exotic Woods bass....

Of course any input on a decent bang for the buck acoustic is appreciated.

I am stuck between those 2 basses too! My old local had a used Ibanez EWB that I didn't buy because I didn't want to move it across the country in a moving truck, but now I am having trouble finding one in S. Florida. I recently tried out the EQABA at the Sarasota GC, and was really impressed with the quality and sound, with the aphex electronics and xlr output it seems like Dean (whom I have never liked but read good things about here) has really set their sights on Ibanez's large market share of medium range ABGs.

I have an Ibanez AEB-10 that I bought new about 2 months ago and it has been great. I compared it too the Dean Exotica and the only thing the Dean had on it was looks. The tone and overall acoustic volume was much better on the Ibanez. Also on the dean, there is not strap button at all. I think it may have a little puny one at the bass of the body but none by the neck.

With the Ibanez EWB series, I also played one of those but didn't care for the feel of the bass. It seemed to have to bog of a body and long neck and simply didn't feel comfortable to me. But given a choice between the Ibanez EWB ir Dean, I would take the Ibanez hands down.
