Middle-to-pinky hammer on

I've been fully using my pinky for a few months, and feel pretty comfortable with it, except for when I need to do a middle-to-pinky hammer on. Maybe its my small fingers , or wide neck, but its very awkward feeling. I feels like it doesn't have any strength in it. Is this normal, or will it get better with practice?

practice middle to pinky hammers and pulls and you'll get it.

Very good call Shredder. I would have forgotten to recommend doing the pull-offs in addition to the hammer-ons.

What really helped me do better pinky hammer-ons was strengthening my pinky, that really helped reduce the "awkwardness."

I did 5 or 10 min. of jams with lots of hammer-ons (don't forget the pull-offs too) right after I warmed up, then I went on to practice other things. I noticed a significant difference in about a week (doing this every day).
