midi cable converter

Hi all,
I have a Roland GR bass, that has a built-in midi pickup, with a HUGE midi cable that connects to a bass synthesizer. This is really old stuff, but i'm trying to find a way to connect it to a regular midi cable in order to plug the bass into any module that i want.
Does anyone know how to do this or who to talk to?

You need to plug the huge 24 pin cable into the GR77B floorboard and then send midi out from there.
