Midtown

Does anyone here on the forums have any experience with the Gibson Midtown bass?
I don't have one and I thought it might make a good addition to my collection. I saw one for 800 bucks.
I like the look but have only seen them on the internet.
There are no stores anywhere around Alaska who sell them.
Just asking.
